Can you help move health care reform forward today?

We are expecting a critical vote on historic health care reform legislation next week in the House of Representatives. And we need your help right now.

First, we are not sure that four of members of Congress—Jason Altmire (D-4); Kathy Dahlkemper (D-3); Chris Carney (D-10); and Tim Holden (D-17)—will vote with us.
If you live in these districts, please call their offices immediately. Use our click to call tool or call 877-264-4226.

If you don’t live in one of these districts, you can still help. You can help at the phonebanks we are running today, Wednesday, July 22 through Tuesday July 28 in many parts of the state at which we call residents of these four districts to ask them to call their member of Congress. You can find the locations of these phonebanks here or at the end of this post.

If you can’t come to one of these phonebanks, you can still call into these districts from your own house. Email me at MarcStier@hcanpa.org and I will send you a list of people to call and a script for you to follow.

It’s easy. It’s fun. And you will be playing a critical role in enacting the most important social welfare legislation since Social Security was passed in 1935.

Thanks for your help.
