You know this is a critical election for all the issues you care about-health care reform, jobs, social security, and protecting our water supply. And I’m sure that most of you are already working to turn out the vote on November 2 and want to be as effective as possible in doing so.
So I’m really excited to tell you that Penn ACTION can has secured access to the ACTIVATE phone bank system we used during the health care campaign for GOTV (get out the vote) calls.
The calls you made in the healthcare campaign made the difference in passing visionary reform legislation, and you can make the same impact again. The more people we call; the more progressives we turn out and the better the results will bes on November 2.

Home Phone Banks
We will set up three calls systems. People in Southeast PA will call into Philadelphia infrequent voters; people in the center and western part of the state will call into Erie infrequent voters, and people in the Northeast part of the state will call into Northeast PA infrequent voters. (If some of you want to call into other areas, let me know and we may be able to set this up.)
As we did for the health care campaign, we will do a ten minute conference call training and then set you loose on the ACTIVATE system.

All of these calls are being made with c3 money so they have to be non-partisan in nature. We will be talking about issue in a way consistent with c3 funding and to voters who we believe are progressives.
This election is so absolutely critical to building on the progress we made in the last two years. So I’m thrilled that we can make ACTIVATE available to you so that can have as big an impact as possible on turning out progressive voters on November 2.
