Election 2010 is under way. You can make a huge difference in 2010 by taking part in Penn ACTION Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Campaigns in Bucks County and Philadelphia.

We will have also have opportunities for Penn ACTION supporters all over the state to do phone banking from home into a variety of critical areas in the state. Details will be available soon.

Most people are just starting to pay attention to the 2010 Election. And this election is all about turnout. Every poll shows that, if we can turnout supporters of progressive causes and candidates, we can win statewide, Congressional and General Assembly elections.

Penn ACTION is beginning two major Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Campaign in Bucks County and Philadelphia. Please join us!

Paid Canvass in Support of Congressman Patrick Murphy

Penn ACTION is are conducting a paid canvass of 20,000 infrequent voters in Buck County in support of Congressman Patrick Murphy, who was a leading supporter of health care reform.. The campaign begins on October 21 and will continue until Election Day. We will be paying canvassers $10 an hour with a limit of 55 hours work per person. Some supervisory position that pay more are also available.

We will have shifts available

Monday to Friday 4:30pm to 8:30pm
Saturday 10am to 2pm
Saturday 12:30pm to 4:30pm
Sunday 1pm to 5pm

Penn ACTION Volunteer Phonebank to bring out infrequent voters in Paid Canvass in Support of Congressman Patrick Murphy

Penn ACTION is also going to carry out a volunteer phone bank to 30,000 infrequent voters in Bucks County and parts of Philadelphia. Ā We will be calling from the offices of

a few evenings each week and possibly on weekends as well. We will be using the ACTIVATE predictive dialer phone bank system to do these calls, which will enable you to make calls rapidly without having to dial individual number and without having to deal with wrong number or answering machines.
