I know you are all have been working hard for health care reform. But I need you to do a bit more. Because the debate about health care in Washington has come down to this: If the insurance companies win, we lose. \u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span>

\n<\/span>Speakers include doctors, nurses, clergy, and those who have suffered from the insurance companies and their relentless pursuit of profits. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The insurance companies have a total stranglehold over health care. \u00a0<\/strong>They make record profits. \u00a0They make the decisions. \u00a0\u00a0They put profits before people and do so at our expense.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They are giving millions in campaign contributions<\/strong> to win legislation that will add billions more to their profits and do nothing for the rest of us. \u00a0They are fighting regulations that would stop them from profiting by denying people care and coverage. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And they oppose a public health insurance plan<\/strong> that would provide us with real competition and choice. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is your opportunity to fight back.\u00a0 <\/strong>Join us at one of these rallies. Stand up to big insurance. And stand for health care reform in 2009. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
