It was only appropriate for the candle light vigil to take place in LOVE Park \u2013 in the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. On this blistery evening, Marc Stier, Executive Director of Penn ACTION, led the vigil. \u201cWe are taking this moment out of lives not for analysis or to engage in dispute about why this shooting took place, let alone to debate broader issues of politics and public policy. We are here because we believe that underlying all that divides in America is a common core of beliefs\u2014in the sanctity of human life, and in the process of discussion and debate that is central to life in a democracy,\u201d said Marc.
